Schneider Electric Infrastructure reported a 32 % increase in net profit, reaching Rs 34.92 crore in the June quarter, primarily attributed to higher revenues. The company's net profit during the same quarter if the previous year stood at Rs 26.52 crore, as disclosed in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The total income of Schneider Electric Infrastructure experienced growth, reaching Rs 497.57 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal, up from Rs 371.98 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
The Board of Directors approved the immediate appointment of Suparna Banerjee Bhattacharyya as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and key managerial personnel.
Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Bhattacharyya held the role of CFO and head of operations at Horiba India Pvt Ltd. Her professional experience includes positions at Gap International Sourcing (India) Pvt Ltd, Schlumberger, and Bata India.
With 25 years of experience, Bhattacharyya has previously managed India and SAARC regions in her roles, according to Schneider Electric.
